FYI: invisionpower no longer gives support for their free boards ~ only the paid ones now, but their are PLENTY of sites out there that have adequate support as well..........just google it.........

I know that I can add keywords to the index.php files on my IPB ~ one each for the portal and the main board; would it be beneficial to add keywords to any of the other PHP files? Would it work?

I don't have the 1st site moved over all the way yet, but what the hey! Getting the 2nd one set up now, the 3rd one will be a little later in the week Rock Sign

I have ran several websites in the past, but have never run a forum ~ how much bandwidth do you use in a typical month / how many members do you have? I need to come up with a way to guesstimate how much bandwidth I am going to need or would I be better off just getting a middle of the road amount and then upping it if need be?

How hard / difficult is it to transfer an existing website to your server? What version of the Invision Power Board is included with the hosting? Is it 1.3 such as this one? Thanks!

WOW, if I wasn't sold before, after reading this thread, I am now...............gonna take me a couple of days to get my other sites to be transferred.

How do you set up a front entrance page like you see at so many places that link to the forum area? IE: >www.secfanatics.com is a site I go to quite a bit and by having an opening page where you can see the latest posts and articles makes the site flow much better. I have looked this up through searching and the best article I could find said simply to use 'ssi.php', but that was it.............anyone know all of the particulars to doing this kind of mod?
