When you are managing over 100 servers you don't want to start special configuring some of them. They try to keep all the servers configured the same. This way it's easier to maintain them.

As for Webdav you might want to look at this thread. http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...?showtopic=7233

Great, glad you got it sorted out.

Sorry, missed one critical piece of information. For PHP to be parsed in HTML pages you need to add this to your .htaccess file. >AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm .html

That is correct. Take a look at the manual for the include function. My site is all HTML and I use PHP includes for navigation and footers.

Good advice Jack, thanks for the input.

Don't know if there is a downside. I thought I read a while back on the forums that someone couldn't mix SHTML and PHP. However you can use PHP includes to do everything you are doing now and it works in HTML files just fine.

I did some testing and you can do it with a PHP include ><?php include("http://..."); ?>

As far as I know you can only use the "include virtual" SSI for content from your own web space. But you should be able to use an iFrame to display the external content.

Thank you Sebastian for your comments. If you find you don't know where to post a question, stick it in open discussions and one of the mods will move it to where it should go. They will PM you with where they move it.

I'm finding SP2 being a bit of a pig. So much slower than SP1. I'm sure you have opened the task manager and looked at the list of programs running. That may give an indication of what's going on.

Welcome to the forums hyspah If you are getting an error that it cannot open or create a file it is most likely a permissions problem. Make sure your permissions are set as per step 5 above. -
If you want something changed or deleted and you cannot do because of the time limit, contact one of the moderators and ask them to do it for you. If your request does not break the flow of the thread your request will be carried out.

Now why would that be the case? What if someone posted something that they later discover an error in. They can't make the correction? What if someone wants to add a thought to an existing post, adding a new post might not make the most sense, they can't? That makes no sense to me. The reason for the time limit is to keep continuity. If someone posted something and then someone responded and then the original post was edited the response may no longer make sense. You can always enter a followup post stating the correction referring to the original post. You can even quote the original post which would help.
