  1. Welcome to the forums Ben
  2. tomorrow (Our's is )
  3. Anniversary
  4. Welcome to the forums DillanC
  5. Welcome to the forums Seth TCH does not allow shell access on shared servers so it is not possible for users on a shared server to create symbolic links. I you open a help desk ticket they may do it for you.
  6. You should check out a rent-a-coder website like was mentioned to you in one of your other threads.
  7. When installing most scripts all you need to do is create a database, create a user, add the user to the database and update a configuration file. What's so hard about that? You don't need to know how to build a table or data fields you just create the database. The installer takes care of the rest.
  8. Only if you are a SharePoint user.
  9. Yes, there have been changes announced here.
  10. So change it to 2.2 for the time being. This is an unsupported method, your mileage may vary. One more tidbit. If you are going to manually update and don't want these messages delete the content of the Wordpress folder in the .fantasticodata folder. I don't use Fantastico to install my scripts. I prefer to install and maintain them manually. One final thought: You are responsible to keep your scripts current. Which ever method you choose is your decision.
  11. Can't speak for heyguy but I use a pure text editor called Vim on Windows and Vi on Linux.
  12. If you have 3 or more domains maybe it's time to upgrade to a reseller account where you can host as many domains as your plan can support. It could be less expensive in the long run depending on the type of sites. One fee to host many accounts.
  13. You should have a fantversion.php file in every directory you installed something into from Fantastico. It is not in the .fantasticodata directory.
  14. prelude
  15. Ok, there's another option. Thanks
  16. It depends. If you want to use the plugins that Frontpage has (I am not familiar with Expressions) then a Windows server would probably serve you better. As the Linux extensions do not support them.
  17. That's your only option. Delete the info from the .fanstasticodata folder or update using Fantastico.
  18. The upload feature of the forums is disabled. You need to remote host any images you want to post.
  19. Clear your browsers cache and try it. And make sure you are not already logged into cPanel. (score: heyguy 1, TCH-Bruce 1 )
  20. If you login to your cpanel and launch the File Manager you should see a .fantasticodata folder. Within that folder you should see folders for the packages you installed with Fantastico. Find the SMF folder and remove what's inside of it. That should take care of it. But only do this if you are maintaining your scripts manually.
  21. All you need to do is go to http://toptenlisted.com/webmail and login with your email address and password for the account you want to check. Once you enter the email address and password you will be presented with two options. Whether to read your email with Horde or Squirrel Mail. You are making it way more difficult than it is. If you have more than one email address that you check you will have to log into each one separately.
  22. Hi Mark, that is not an "ad" it is pulling latest news items from the forum threads.
  23. How about the Excel to MySQL converter
  24. Thanks for the kudo's Sami. Tech support does a great job but seldom hears that they make a difference.
