It should be able to work. Make sure you are putting your full email address in as your user name. You may want to change the port number to 25 or 26.

Can't be done if you have a website as www.website.com will bring up your website. Most people that have a website and a blog install something like Wordpress and run it from a subdomain. (that may be a possibility for typepad as well, I don't know)

Not sure I am understanding the question. Do you have a website and a blog over at typepad? If that is the case you would need a separate domain name for your typepad blog.

I was having issues with the previous version of Trillian locking up my workstation at work. So I have switched to Pidgin and haven't had the problem in a week. Don't think I will waste my time testing the new Trillian.

I am guessing you have this resolved. I have gone to your blog and all the links appear to be working. So what did you do to fix it?

I'm not sure what to say. You don't need folders for permalinks. Remove the folder. Then edit your .htaccess file either manually or let Wordpress do it (you will need to change permissions).

Oh, and with regards to your forum, I can access it just fine.
