vwpowergtsr,

I would seriously question the need for a public stats page.

You are asking to be bombarded with Referrer Spam.

It is generally a very bad idea.

Welcome to the family, vwpowergtsr!

Glad you could join us.

There is a way to give access to the AwStats without giving access to CPanel. Check out the Statistics page for instructions.

Also, I am moving this thread for organization.

Good reference, Bruce!

vwpowergtsr,

I would suggest that you put your new stats page in a password-protected directory. That way, they are still private.

If you need help setting that up, just say so and we can give you some help in that direction.

After you create the folder in CPanel select Web Protect, select the folder you just created and you will be presented with a screen where you can set up login/password information.

Possibly not what you are wanting in this situation, but maybe something you didn't know was possible:

You can change cpanel so that awstats is the only available option, or just have awstats and webmail as options.

You can easily add/remove all the choices in cpanel if you are a reseller with the feature manager in whm.

I usually take out everything from cpanel except:

Add/Remove Mail Accounts

Backup

MySQL

AwStats

Logs
