wigoweb Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 Hello, When I set up some forwarders for one of our sites, I was able to forward to only one address. Is there a way to have a forwarder go to multiple addresses? I am not talking about dozens of recipents but just 8 or 10? Would I be able to set up a list and forward to the list? Thanks Quote
scotttyz Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 Yes, I do this on my site. Just set up multiple forwarders i.e.: forwardmail@domain.com TO: email1@domain.com forwardmail@domain.com TO: email2@domain.com forwardmail@domain.com TO: email3@domain.com forwardmail@domain.com TO: email4@domain.com forwardmail@domain.com TO: email5@domain.com rinse and repeat S Quote
wigoweb Posted April 20, 2004 Author Posted April 20, 2004 Thanks. That works. I also discovered that I can set up one forwarder and then type in multiple addresses separated by commas. cPanel will create the individual forwarders from that single forward. Quote
Head Guru Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 Take a look thru this post. Good reading about reasons to be careful when using blind forwards. http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...t=0entry61363 Quote
TCH-Don Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 You can also use an alias as the e-mail in a form, then forward to multiple addresses. And yes be sure not to forward to AOL, unless you read the link Bill posted. Quote
