Hi Folks -

Thought I'd share with you a project I've been working on for the past few days - while Samantha held my hand and guided me through the bottlenecks.

The link listed below is actually a page in my website. Each of the links on that page connect to a separate .tlx file which contains a gallery published to a sub-folder of its own. This allowed me to categorize my photos, present them in an organized fashion, and not have them all load at once. The gallery files themselves are a snap to edit if I need to and the .tlx file updates in a heartbeat.

This is done in CSB 4.0. I think it's a nice piece of flexibility in the product. This is my first attempt at a personal website, so it's not overly sophisticated or slick, but I'm pretty pleased. ;) Thought others might enjoy seeing this capability of the product. Thumbs Up

My Main Gallery Page

Thanks again, Samantha!!

Wonderful photos! Thumbs Up

And lovely implementation of the gallery style format!

Added a link from my gallery tutorial to yours so others can see your examples too. http://www.samisite.com/photo/id88.htm

Hi Beth,

Your images are wonderful! Thumbs Up We've always wanted to travel to Scotland....it's now definately on the list!

I like the gallery format too, and yes, Samantha is a big help! :)

I use CSB as well, for now anyway, and my site is essentially a photojournal. It's very simplistic, and although it loads OK for dialup and despite the clean look and lack of 'gee-gaws', I am getting bored with it.

I'll check to see if that format is available in my earlier version of CSB.

Thanks for sharing, and congrats!

The gallery design format is not a pre-made template offered by Trellix or any version of CSB. I made several gallery layouts by playing with borders and tables and give instructions on the tutorial how to do it and the settings I found worked best for me. http://www.samisite.com/photo/id88.htm Several folks with Trellix and CSB3 have used the instructions to make their own gallery files.

I do have a full CSB4 tlx file available for download (tables built, ready for images and links and instructions included), but at this time can not offer anything pre-made in Trellix or CSB3 format.
