I am still getting pounded by all this garbage email - viri / worms / trojans - and trying to keep up with filters and assassins and the like is time consuming and not really effective.

Can email be filtered by it's size?

Anything legit coming to me isn't ever more than about 5k.

Hi Rob, thanks for the reply.

I do initially check with Mailwasher (all my accounts) so at least I can weed them out from there and prevent them from getting to the machine.

Then I'm using netscape for my mail. I know I can set that for a size limit but that still leaves stuff on the server.

That's what I'm trying to avoid. Being able to sorta "blackhole" anything over a certain size would be outstanding.

I haven't used Netscape's mail functionality, but Outlook has the ability to create Rules that will do virtually anything, including what you're asking.

We don't have anything server-level to do that.

Server level was what I was hoping for  I will just be happy that I (at least) have Mailwasher and can sort through the junk before it hits the machine and has potential to do serious damage.

Thanks guys, always appreciated. :)
