Hello,

I created and propagated a web site that is working just fine.

Then, I added a sub-domain which is also working just fine.

The address is:

http://commtwp.improvelearning.com

Some of the teachers in the Commercial Township Schools (hence the clever name for the subdomain) want to publish directly to the web with FrontPage.

I use DreamWeaverMX, but the school uses FrontPage, so I am attempting to accommodate the teachers.

I went to my cPanel and installed FrontPage Extensions on the main site, improvelearning.com, per the directions which state you install on the main site before installing on the sub-domain.

Then, I installed on the sub-domain.

All the messages at cPanel indicate that the extensions are installed.

When I use the Publish option on FrontPage, I get a message which indicates that one of several errors has occurred, possibly the FrontPage extensions are not installed is one of the diagnostic guesses from FrontPage.

Does one need to restart Apache after installing the FrontPage extensions?

If so, how does one restart the server?

Or, is there some other step that I need to complete?

Thanks.

I just did this myself last night, exactly as you described. Worked great.

Sounds like you might want to open up a ticket. You can try to repeat the process just in case something coughed, just to cover your bases.

But from what you wrote, it looks good!
