Just a suggestion...

 

Use the PM Feature of the boards.

 

This will send a private message directly to the users account and they can respond directly to you.

By default, the html code that the site linked to in that thread produces little online/offline icons, all I did was create my own icons, upload them to my webspace and tell the code generator where they were.

 

It's easier to do than it is to explain ... take a look and you'll see what I mean

What i dont understand is how:

 

1) the blue (can be some other nuance, since i have problem seeing nuances) background ends up in your signature,

2) how that background no matter where i click (except on the icons) shows me the link to your site.

ah ... right ....

 

All I've done is added an image 250 pixels wide (the blue bit with the text in it) as the first line of my sig. It's that image that links to my site, not the text (as that's just part of the image).

 

The second line of the sig is 5 x 50 pixel wide icons.
