amansker Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 I am a reseller and set up an account for customer.com. I'm also their web developer. The client wants to change his own email pw for security. I won't want to provide them access to cPanel for they are not computer literate and that would give them too much control. How can the email owner access and change their personal email without accessing cPanel? Quote
TCH-Dick Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 go to www.domain.com/webmail once they sign in there is a change password link on the bottom of the page. Quote
amansker Posted February 14, 2004 Author Posted February 14, 2004 Hmmm, maybe I'm blind. I did just that earlier and clicked everywhere, but couldn't find a pw option. After your post I did it again and still don't see a pw option. I'm entering horde as you described. Quote
amansker Posted February 14, 2004 Author Posted February 14, 2004 DUHHH - Now I see it. The change pw option resides on the same screen as the different mail clients (Neo, Horde, Squirrel). . . . but you already knew that! thanks for the quick responses. Quote
natimage Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 Just curious...if you allow a client to do this, and then the client forgets the password...is there a way to retrieve it or reset it in Cpanel? Quote
MikeJ Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 You can change the passwords of any of your email accounts under Mail Account Maintenance in cpanel if they forget theirs. Quote
tr4nc3 Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Better than that, if your a reseller you can login to any of your resold accounts with the main PW for your main account. Quote
