andypeat Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 I have been playing with version 6.9 of PHP Nuke and have been trying to make it look how I want it. There seems to be a lot of tables used within the styles of PHP Nuke to make the layout work, and was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to control the layout of Nuke using just CSS? This would take me a long time to do so thought it would save me a job if someone else had already tried it and knew the answer. thanks Quote
TCH-Dick Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 I would suggest anyone new to PHP-Nuke to read this PHP-Nuke: Management and Programming. In your case I would take a look at Chapter 7. Quote
jacobw Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 That HOW-TO documentation is very helpful, but it didn't seem to say a thing about CSS. Until the default skin is table-less, I think you're generally out of luck unless you have a lot of time on your hands to take out all of the table tags and turn them into "divs". I'm currently fooling with Land Down Under, a "website engine" using PHP/mySQL. There are some people who are working on CSS/tableless skins. I'm not sure how close they are, though. Quote
