This morning, Feb 1, Horde presented me with a new screen offering to do some monthly maintenance which included renaming my Sent-mail folder as Sent-mail Jan 2004 (or something close to that). I clicked the button that would do the maintenance.

Now I still have a Sent-mail folder, but no Sent-mail Jan 2004 folder. The Horde help doesn't offer any info about accessing the archived folders.

I went back and looked in the Sent-mail folder. It still has all of my January sent mail in it.

I guess no new folder was created.

This would be a nice feature. Hope it works some day soon.

This may seem like a silly question, but it's what happened to me the first time...when that screen pops up, the boxes beside the maintenance options are by default, UNchecked. Did you place a check in the maintenance options you wanted to perform?

Tracy,

I recall the boxes, but I don't think that I checked any of them. I think there were two choices below the maintenance items, one to do the maintenance and one to skip it.

It didn't occur to me that the boxes needed to be checked when I was clicking to do the maintenance.

I will be more careful next month.

Thanks

If you'd like to go ahead and perform maintenance on your sent-mail folder, you can go into the "Folders" menu. Once there, you can choose "Create Folder" in the "Choose Action" box to create a "sent-mail-jan-2004" folder.

Then you can go into your Sent Mail folder and move all the messages to the new folder you created!! Thumbs Up
