amansker Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 I enabled Spam Assassin and Spam Box. Enter Horde, but don't see a folder named SpamBox, Spam, or whatever - only the inbox. There is a drop-down menu with Inbox, but not SpamBox. It appears Spam Assassin is working, I just need to locate the mail for review and deletion. Quote

!!blue Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 Here is the path if I have mulitple email accounts setup: /mail/yoursite.com/accountname/ The spambox is a file called spam u totally lost me do you mean it's http : //mail/yoursite.com/accountname ? or http : //yoursite.com/webmail/mail/yoursite.com/accountname/ ?? I'm lost... (urls spaced out so they won't link) Quote
amansker Posted January 29, 2004 Author Posted January 29, 2004 I'm confused also. Based on the instructions, I thought that I could see SpamBox with Horde. Quote
TCH-Rick Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 You should be able to see the Spam box in Horde. Please submit a ticket with the username and password for the account and I will have a look. Quote
murasaki Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 Sorry, bad habit of mine. Read too fast and skip too many important phrases. The Spambox may work, however, if no one sent you spam as yet, there isn't a spam file in your email account (for location see below the dash lines). I found that before you ever receive any spam and want to see "spambox" in your Horde folders, click on "Folders" and choose action: Create Folder. Name your new folder as "spam" (no double quotes!) Then, you should see spam in your list of folders in addition to your INBOX and sent-mail. Next time, just pick spam from the drop down menu and click "Open Folder". If you ever receive spams like I do, you'll definitely see it in your Horde Mail. ------------------------- Going back to my misleading reply earlier ........ After having multiple email accounts setup and having subdomain name created, I found that each account's spambox is located in: Root directory ..mail ....mysite.com .......accountname1 ..........inbox ..........sent-mail ..........spam <----- spambox .......accountname2 ..........inbox ..........sent-mail ..........spam <----- spambox etc... (Look through cPanel's File Manager and click on the yellow folders). Quote
murasaki Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 Here is my question. The folder (files) sent-mail and spam created in Horde has permission 600. However, under all the other accounts which I am not using any webmail, I see the permissions as 660. Should I change these permission to 660 as well? murasaki Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 I think you could leave them at 600. Permissions are owner-group-world. 600 is owner has read-write permissions and group and world cannot access it. Quote
