TCH-Dick Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 I've been looking for a file uploader script that will allow members to upload pictures from their pc, it needs to have the ability to create subfolders for each member, and restrict file types and sizes. I had one that worked GREAT about a year ago but I cant remember the name of it, if anyone has any suggestion let me know. Quote
DarqFlare Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 I have no idea... I'd be tempted to jsut write one up myself, heh. I'll see if I can find anything. Quote
natimage Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Mike...I don't know if you can tell what's used on another site or not, but I post a lot of my photos to WEBAPERTURE and it seems that it would have the features you're looking for. They restrict size and file type...and I would imagine their images go into subfolders. Quote
TCH-Dick Posted January 18, 2004 Author Posted January 18, 2004 Thanks Tracy, Thats a little more than what I'm looking for. what I'm looking for doesnt need to create thumbs, or a gallery or anything, just something that requires a password and uploads to the folder associated to that user. Quote
natimage Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 TRY HOTSCRIPTS, if you haven't already. I looked over this page, but thought you'd be better at deciding if there is anything worthwhile on it... Quote
TCH-Dick Posted January 18, 2004 Author Posted January 18, 2004 Yup, already tried there. i found one that ALMOST does everything I want it to, doesnt create the subfolders but it does require registration with a valid e-mail address. Quote
DarqFlare Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Mike, Do you know much about PHP? I think it would be efficient if you could grab the Hotscripts information and edit it and configure it yourself to use subs... Quote
