Lianna Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Hang on a sec...DarkHavoc, i forgot my login and password There are three possibilities for that statement: 1. cPanel 2. the database user that supports the advanced guestbook 3. the advanced guestbook administration user So which? Quote
DarkHavoc Posted January 18, 2004 Author Posted January 18, 2004 the advanced guestbook administration user is what the password i lost Quote
DarkHavoc Posted January 19, 2004 Author Posted January 19, 2004 iguess i should just make a new guestbook then argh Quote
TCH-Rick Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 Before making a new Guestbook try going into PhpMyAdmin and find your username and delete the password. Then you should be able to log in with just the username and no password. Once in your Admin screen you can set a new password. Just enter the new password into both boxes and click Submit. Quote
TCH-Don Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 Did you try the steps I suggested? It is easy to create a user in cpanels Manage Mysql and then add it to the guestbook. Quote
