I just signed up for this service 2 days ago. Yesterday, I got my intro e-mail. Since then, here is where I need HELP!!

 

1. Nothing is working on my FrontPage (I have tried everyway to get to my site and nothing)

----I have used FrontPage for years and never run into this much of a wall

 

2. I can NOT even use the Help Desk (says my log-in and password are not correct (which means I get no technical support available to me).

 

3. Yesterday (before all these problems), I was all ready to move all of my sites (4 or 5) to a reseller account with TotalChoice Hosting. I sent an e-mail saying that I wanted to "upgrade to reseller" and NO one has replied (I am trying to give them more money).

 

4. Through all of this headache, one person was helpful -- Nicholas. If he didn't exist, I would be wondering if anyone is there.

 

5. I know that my password and username are correct because I CAN get to the control panel.

 

Please someone help me!!!

Ok - I will answer one at a time.

Give a little more information would be nice. I have no clue what the issue is unless you tell me whats broke.

 

2. I can NOT even use the Help Desk (says my log-in and password are not correct (which means I get no technical support available to me).

 

You did not read the text above the login at the help desk. I will paste it here. "Please log in to your help desk account below, or create an account. First time users must register to use this help desk. Your hosting account username and password will not work on the help desk unless you have registered with the Help Desk using that information!"

Being that yesterday was a weekend, how fast would you like sales to respond. We get about 500 emails on any given day. Things take time.

All of our reps are here to help. Nick is a great tech support person, kudos to him.

 

5. I know that my password and username are correct because I CAN get to the control panel.

I would also like to add that I replied to your post in about 8 minutes. If that is not good tech support then I dont know what is.

 

Just remember this, we try to solve each problem as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your help. You provided fantastic assistance. Thank you!! When something goes right, I am the first to compliment (as I will ask when things go wrong).

 

1. When I try to open the new site in FrontPage, I can not (doesn't even give me the chance to provide a username and password). I get that the account is not accessible. I did try ftp and that did not allow me in with my password and username (I really hate ftp and prefer to work in FrontPage).

 

2. Thanks for showing me the error of my ways.

 

3. Yes, I do expect a company to respond to a sales lead by the end of the day (when they received the lead at the start of the day).

 

4. I was referring to my password and username to access my site (not the help desk).

 

Once again, THANK YOU!! Sorry for not being a little clearer (just a bit frustrated).

BTE, would you care to share, in summary, what it took to get you working? It might help someone else down the road in a similar situation.
