Dennis Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 Is there anyway to change the user password of the Mysql user that we had created in Cpanel besides deleting the user and creating another one with a new password? Dennis Quote
DarqFlare Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 No, but it'd be nice if there was a change password option... Quote
TCH-JimE Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 Unfortunatley not Dennis, we shall ask CPANEL to try and include it in thier future builds. Jim Quote
Dennis Posted November 4, 2003 Author Posted November 4, 2003 Thanks Jim, That would make things easier Dennis Quote
Mark_ Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 Hi, With that said, if you do need a mySQL user password changed we can do it for you, send in a support ticket with the database user username and what password you want for the new user and we can do it for you Rock Sign Quote
Pgh-Biker Posted November 8, 2003 Posted November 8, 2003 There is no need to delete the user. Just type in the username you currently have with the new password, hit 'add user', there ya go, password changed. Nothing else needs done. Quote
Dennis Posted November 9, 2003 Author Posted November 9, 2003 Thanks Pgh-Biker, didn't know that would do the trick Dennis Quote
