TCH-Dick Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Our monitoring has alerted us to a failing disk on this server, and we are investigating. The server will be rebooted, and a file system check will be performed. Further updates will be posted here as we progress.
TCH-Dick Posted July 28, 2023 Author Posted July 28, 2023 All attempts to repair issues with this disk have been unsuccessful, and we are seeing signs of file corruption. In an effort to prevent a full failure and data loss, we have decided it is best to do an emergency replacement of the entire server. We already have servers on standby and valid backups to restore from. We expect to start the restore/migration process within the next hour. We appreciate your patience, and our support staff are available at our help desk. Updates will be posted here as we progress.
TCH-Steve Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 We are currently in the process of restoring all accounts to the new hardware. We are currently restoring accounts from the most recent backup, which was generated on the 27th. At this time, the restoration process is 14% complete.
