RockNRollPig Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 I am outsourcing some programming work and wanted to give him access to the file manager in cpanel to change permissions and what not but not necessarily the whole cpanel....i've set him up an FTP account but is there a way to only allow him access to the file manager? TCH-Sales Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 No, it's pretty much giving him all access or none at all. If the FTP account didn't work out though, I'm sure you could find a simple script that would give him a way to upload files via the browser. Quote
RockNRollPig Posted September 4, 2003 Author Posted September 4, 2003 well he's got an ftp account that gives him the ability to ftp everything via say dreamweaver....but i just wanted to give him the ability to change permissions basically... Quote
TCH-Rick Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 He could use an FTP client like CoreFTP or Filezilla to change permissions. Quote
