tgshaw Posted August 14, 2003 Posted August 14, 2003 I'm posting this here because it seems to be the quickest way to get help (operator was off-line; I did send an email there). You remember my questions about two accounts? Here's what's happened. Got the two domain names registered. I used the option to debit my bank account with no problems. I went through process to register for two webhosting accounts, planning to use the debit payment method again--but when I got to the payment options it wasn't there! The credit card I have registered at Paypal is no longer operative, so I went to Paypal to change my primary source to my checking account, but Paypal says it could take several days to get my account listed. I got out of the registration system, thinking I'd canceled my purchase of the two webhosting plans, but invoices for them showed up in my email. Bottom line is--when TCH tries to get payment from Paypal, it will be turned down because I don't have any source of funding available. I went to support options, thinking I could phone something at TCH immediately and get the transaction stopped, but the operator was off line. Help! Can I cancel the webhosting sign-up? Is there any way I can pay with direct bank account debit as I did for the domain names? I don't want to turn up as a "non-payer" at TCH!! Thanks!! (I'm running off to the office now--won't be able to access my home email, but I will be able to get to this page.) --tg Quote
TCH-JimE Posted August 14, 2003 Posted August 14, 2003 Hi, Please email billing@totalchoicehosting.com and explain it all there. We can work something out then. Cheers Jim Quote
tgshaw Posted August 15, 2003 Author Posted August 15, 2003 Okay--deep breath--I got home from work and have an email from the help desk letting me know they're working on the situation. I'm not in a big hurry to have everything "fixed"--but I was in a *huge* hurry to let someone know there could be a problem, so I wouldn't come across as a "deadbeat" on my first order here ! But as long as I know the billing folks are aware of it, I'm not too worried . Quote
