K_M Posted August 8, 2003 Posted August 8, 2003 What is a Help Desk Ticket? How can it be sent? Why is it used? Is it free to send it? Have heard a lot about it without knowing what it actually is. Quote
Twisted Posted August 8, 2003 Posted August 8, 2003 A helpdesk ticket is almost like an e-mail but you use a online program to submit and view them. It is free with your tch account and using the helpdesk ticket system you get help fast when you need it. It's a great little system. Here is the url for the helpdesk ticket system. Click Here Click on submit a ticket for any hosting support questions or problems you may have. Rock Sign Quote
TCH-Rick Posted August 8, 2003 Posted August 8, 2003 I would add that you should use the Help Desk to submit requests rather than email since it is on an encryptic page and thus more secure in sending your password and other information. And do fill in all the information requested. It delays things if we have to ask for incomplete information. Most folks don't fill in the server information or fill it in incorrectly but I love it when it is there. It really makes things go quicker on our end. To see your server just log into CPanel and look at the top where it says Welcome to Server##" That's what we need. Quote
K_M Posted August 9, 2003 Author Posted August 9, 2003 Thanks both of you. I will try to send the helpdesk ticket if I have a problem. But it asks for some number. What is it? Quote
