roadmap Posted August 7, 2003 Posted August 7, 2003 I think that i'm getting conflicting reports about my bandwidth and I was hoping someone could clear up for me if the info below is correct. Bandwidth section under stats-Aug 2003 Total 750.849709 0.733252 Account Information-Bandwidth Usage this month 750.85 Meg AwStats Stats-2.02 GB (958.21 KB/visit) Webalizer Web Stats-Total KBytes 3046767 These are my stats so far for the month of august. I jut want to know how much bandwidth I have used in gigabytes since that is how we determine our accounts. Is it 2.02 like the AwStats say? I dont know how many kb's or mb's equal a gig so that's why im asking. If it all equals the same amount, I apologize. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted August 7, 2003 Posted August 7, 2003 I always go by the Account Information-Bandwidth Usage this month 750.85 Meg. KB or KiloBytes = roughly 1000 and MB or MegaBytes = roughly 1,000,000. Therefore 1000 KB = 1 MB and 1000MB = 1 GB. If you want to be exact there are 8 bits to a byte, 1024 bytes to a kilobyte. I have trusted cPanel's information as to what I have used. BTW, the top 2 lines are the same. Quote
roadmap Posted August 7, 2003 Author Posted August 7, 2003 Ok, thank God. I thought I was already at 2 gigs this early in the month. I almost passed out when I first saw that. Goof Quote
TCH-JimE Posted August 7, 2003 Posted August 7, 2003 Hi, In AWstats are you looking at the total amount that has ever passed through the account? If you still have a worry, start a help ticket so that we can take a look Jim Quote
