darqfire Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 I'm attempting to set up and advanced guestbook but it's not accepting my username and/or password so I can get in and work with it. Help please? Quote
Lianna Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 During the installation of Advanced Guest Book, it gives you the username and password to use (NOT the same as your cPanel one). Hang on just a sec and I'll do a quick install and post back. Quote
Lianna Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 Advanced Guestbook SetupPlease note, the default login is test and the default password is 123 . You should change this as soon as possible here. So username: test Password: 123 That's the default, so you really need to change it asap after install. Quote
darqfire Posted July 23, 2003 Author Posted July 23, 2003 Thank you Lianna! It still wouldn't take the 123 so I waited a day and everything clicked in and started working. Quote
moonstar Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 You're welcome. Glad it's all good now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm having the same problem... I set up my guestbook almost a year ago, but I could never get in as the admin. I tried searching all the SQL files with no luck. How can I find out my admin username and/or password or possibly set up a new one? No trouble getting into cpanel, so I could do it from there but don't know where to look. Thanks! Rachael B-G Quote
