Curl

I am working on a MOD for my site and one of the things it mentions is;

You must have PHP compiled --with-curl in order for this contribution to work successfully. cURL is available here: http://curl.haxx.se/

Is this something I need to do or install or is it here already? I read through the site a bit but dont speak UNIX. Are there alternatives?

Server17 does have CURL installed.

It is a standard install for TCH servers.
