My mom who is 82 this year is having problems with IE7. All she gets are blank pages. She is connected and her Outlook works but no matter what URL is used, the blank page shows up. Once in a while she gets the Can't Connect Page.

Has anyone tried to be tech support over the phone to their elderly mom who "punches buttons"? :)

I'm at a loss as to what to tell her to try to do so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Or.......... have her try Firefox

Clearing the cache has solved a lot of "weird" problems I've seen with all browsers over time. I'd try that too.

Yes, I deal with button pushers all day in my job. I have to tell them "Don't do anything unless I say to...", but moms are different - you can't diss mom!
