BoxersRule Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 My mom who is 82 this year is having problems with IE7. All she gets are blank pages. She is connected and her Outlook works but no matter what URL is used, the blank page shows up. Once in a while she gets the Can't Connect Page. Has anyone tried to be tech support over the phone to their elderly mom who "punches buttons"? I'm at a loss as to what to tell her to try to do so any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Check the Internet settings. In IE7 select Tools --> Internet Options --> Connections tab Quote
Deverill Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Clearing the cache has solved a lot of "weird" problems I've seen with all browsers over time. I'd try that too. Yes, I deal with button pushers all day in my job. I have to tell them "Don't do anything unless I say to...", but moms are different - you can't diss mom! Quote
jayson Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I agree with Mike, I been using FF for 2 years, and have never had a problem Quote
