Good evening [it is for me],

I was wondering if you could answer a few questions I have with regard my account.

The first is will links pointing to my temporary domain [http://64.246.62.111/~saintco/]still work once my domain transfer is complete [www.saint52.com].

As my old server are ignoring my pleas for the DNS entries to be changed and refuse to allow me to access it to do it myself.

In the meantime I have updated pages and some links now reference the above temporary adderess [iP I assume].

The next question is can I add an additional domain to my account as I have another domain currently doing nothing and I'd like to use some of the space I have for another site and reference it with this other domain [which I can update DNS for].

And finally what is the meaning of life?

Thanks in advance.

Yes

You can only point an additional domain at the same place, if they will see exactly the same pages and site. You can not point another domain at your site and provide different pages depending which domain name they asked for. IF you follow my meaning

what is the meaning of life?

42

err... I didn't get that "meaning of life = 42" joke (I'm supposing it's a joke)...

Could you please explain it to me?

Never mind, I got it

I just love google

From http://www.intellectualloafing.com/discuss...deverything.htm

When Douglas Adams was asked why he chose 42 as the answer to the meaning of Life, the Universe and Everything, he replied, "It was a joke. It had to be a number, an ordinary, smallish number, and I chose that one. Binary representations, base thirteen, Tibetan monks are all complete nonsense. I sat at my desk, stared into the garden and thought '42 will do' I typed it out. End of story ."

End of story fair enough, but the start of a debate for light relief. Could he have chosen a better number than 42? One thing's for sure, there are many worse...
