SEO Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 Family members, I leave town early (too early!) tomorrow morning for a long July 4th weekend. Would like to wish everyone a nice weekend and spectacular fireworks! Again, have a GREAT JULY 4th!
Lianna Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 The "4th of July" is the Independence Day holiday for the United States. Delegates from each of the American colonies signed the Declaration of Independence from England over 200 years ago to form the United States of America. Big celebrations with fireworks! Kick Me
stevevan Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 In case any ex-military are reading this, when we had bases in the Philippines, July 4th used to be Phil-Am Friendship day. It was celebrated by consuming lots of food and adult beverages with our host country. Quite the blast! woooot
Lianna Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 That's very interesting! I wonder if that were done on more than one day per year, in more than one place, if this world wouldn't be a much more joyous place?
