Boonetown Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Has anyone successfully installed and is using ezdatabase? http://www.ezdatabase.org/ I'm interested in it but not sure if I can get it installed or not. I don't want to pay for it if I can't install it. Thanks, Boonetown Quote
stevevan Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Never had a need to use it. MySQL does just fine for me. What is it you are trying to do? Quote
Boonetown Posted August 13, 2006 Author Posted August 13, 2006 The ezdatabase uses MySQL. It is a template driven front end that is configurable to my own website. I want to build my own "application" for my customers. This seems like just what I need but I don't know if it will install properly on my TCH hosted site. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the install on a TCH site before I spend the $60. I am not a programmer (eg perl, PHP) but I can modify templates and html etc. Thanks Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 From thier website: ezDatabase will run on any server that has PHP 4.1.0 or greater and MySQL 3.23 or greater installed. The TCH servers meet these requirements. Quote
Boonetown Posted August 17, 2006 Author Posted August 17, 2006 Just in case anyone else is wondering. I've purchased and successfully install ezdatabase. It's functioning well and now all I need to do is customize it for my use. Thanks TCH for the help. Quote
