Help In Install Joomla 1.0.9

I´m install Joomla 1.0.9 and now necessary of this:

configuration.php Permission only reading

 

But, in Cpanel / file manager not have this file "configuration.php"

Have this configuration.php-dist

 

some suggestion ?

This is not really a problem. If that is the only error message you get, ignore it. At the final stage of the installation, you will be given the text that should be the content of your configuration.php file. Just paste this text into a file, rename it configuration.php, and then upload it to your Joomla directory.

Then you can use the File Manager in cPanel to change the permissions. Also, Joomla! has a newer version out. Check out this post.

Is it advisable to leave the config file on permanent writeable, or leave it as unwirteable and change it when you need to.

The config file should only be changed it when needed. Then change it back.
