jayson Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 My wife has a brothers word processor, she would like to be able to gain acess to the files, but can not find a program that will read the disk (the WP uses a 3.5 floppy) is there a program out there that will read the floppy? When I try to read it, it says "the disk is not formated, do you want to format it now" I really would like to get the data off the disk. Thanks Quote
boxturt Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I did a search and found This I'm also thinking that the files could be resaved with the Brother WP itself as ascii or a less formatted file that MS Word (or whatever she's using) can read. Hope it helps. Quote
jayson Posted March 17, 2006 Author Posted March 17, 2006 thanks, but I was mistaken it is a panasonic word processor, can I do the same thing, as if it was brothers? Quote
Deverill Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 You can do a google (or some other search engine) search on something like 'read Panasonic Model Number disks on a PC" and more precise results since you'd be including the exact model. They probably differ from machine to machine. Quote
