Need Some Help For Bounce Email Setting

Hello;

 

I need help here to finnish my installation of a autoresponder script,

 

1- does tch use Qmail or send mail?

 

2- part of the manual for bounce handling says:

 

valiases (cPanel, etc) - Login via SSH or FTP and modify the file /etc/valiases/******, in it add the following line:

 

bounce@yoursite.com: "|/home/username/public_html/cgi-bin/bounce.cgi"

 

Once you discover how it's done on your server you can also setup signup and removal scripts with this method.

 

I have no idea how to find what they say and edit it, I did looked in Cpanel, Ftp.

TCH uses sendmail and you do not have access to the /etc/valiases file.

As Bruce says, you don't have direct access to the file. You can add "|/home/username/public_html/cgi-bin/bounce.cgi" as a forward for bounce@yoursite.com in your cpanel though, which will add it to the etc/valiases file
