Hi; I am trying to run a script and does not work, I have to make sure that cron job works, 1- is there is way to find out if the cron runs or not? 2- the first thing came to my mind was; when the cron job runs it sends an email, is this a right way to make sure cron job is working? 3- but now I am not sure how make the cron command simple to get email, hopping to get some help here: here is cron command: appreciate your help.

thanks for the reply, well that is the problem, to change the new ip pointing address I have to do it on my hosting account which is: TCH, but the address will be redirected to domain site of registerar to my domain account. I can not do anything. thanks

hi, you might be able to help me out, I am not sure if should ask domain registerar or TCH, but I start here to see what happen, I had my domain with other company than TCH, I did transfer my domain to another third company, now after transfering is done, I can not log in to my tch host to change the new ip address to point to new domain regiserar, my adderss to log into my account of hosting is: www.****/cpanel and now my new address to access to my domain setting is www.****/vdeck now whenever I type the address to host (www.mywdomain.com/cpanel ), I will be redirected to the domain registerar site. any solution for this, to be able to log in to my hosting account? thanks

trying to install a new autoresponder, what is the address of smtp server? when login and pass is needed to access the my smtp server, does it mean to use the one that is used to access cpanel? does the port of smtp server is 25? thanks

OH, I did noticed that the comments is on, so possibly they just did use comments and past the long text into it.

Hi, I did install a guestbook ( Lazarus Guestbook advanced guest book I think ver.2.3) for my friend, today I noticed that a long list of some text mixed with links has been posted under those comments. I used to see guest book spam, that people leave links on guest book, but as a new comment, I have not see this before, it was totally 7 comments on the guest book, very short message, some into 2 line message, but now under every comment there are over 34 line of text and links as html, the html was disabled. the links are not live, how could this be? to mention the spam are only under those comments which are 7, not more. \ any help appreciated. thanks

I just wonder if there is some kind of log that I can see what cron job has been running? is cronjob activities being recorded somewhare? I did delete a crob job by accident, and I have no idea what was deleted, I am trying to find out what was deleted to be able to write it again, I had 8 cron jobs running . thanks

Hi; couple days ago I noticed two pages of my site which are in PHP and have database related pages (mysql)does not open, I did not changed anything, the page was there since 2003, and no problem on search and browsing the data , now when page loads I get this message: >You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-1' at line 1 do I need to get a ticket? thanks.

Upload carpsetup.php to your webserver (in a location where you'll be able to load it in your web browser). Recommendation: For simplicity, we recommend uploading it to your web root folder. For example, if your web folder is located at "/home/joe/public_html", upload it to there. Load carpsetup.php in your web browser. For example, if you uploaded it to "/home/joe/public_html/carpsetup.php" and your website address is http://www.webhost.com/~joe/, load http://www.webhost.com/~joe/carpsetup.php in your web browser. Follow the directions that are shown in that page. If you see a message about unsupported functions, that means that your web host has turned off support for functions which are necessary for CaRP to function. In that case, you will either need to contact your web host to see if they will re-enable those functions for you or install CaRP on a different server. Once you have successfully completed setup, delete carpsetup.php and carpsetupinc.php from your server.

hello; I started to get some spam to my email, which was directed to couple of email that i had not set up , like accouting at mydomain, account at mydomain, etc.. I did follow the tutorial and put ":fail: no such address here" in default email setting ( without the quote), it did not stop it and I am getting even more. any way to prevent this? some of the spam email was directed to eamil that I had as forwarders, support at, service at, today I did delete those forwarders and made new one that could be guessed easily. appreciate your help.

hello; my friend and i have a website hosting with TCH since 2003, and recently I used TCH for another domain , now I have another domain that want to host with TCH, but I want to be on any other server than I have being hosted already( the new one) one that hosted since 2003 starts with ip: 209.51. which is in Georgia Atlanta, and the new one starts with ip: 72.18. I did help another friend to get his domain hosted with TCh and when I checked his ip it is exactly as my web ip adress. Is it possible to get it on a ip other than 72.18 ( server 121)? I am not sure if different server has different ip address but, for the sake of SE and linking I want my web sites be hosted on different IPs> thanks
