First I want to thank everyone here for their advice and help, it is greatly appriciated. Since asking about resolution screen display, I ran accross an article on forcing a specific width of web pages.

<div style="width: set by you">

Page content goes here

</div>

I tried this and it made the photos on my pages I created line up like I wanted them to in different display settings but I am wondering if this is a "web design standards" bad idea.

As always.......thanks!

Hello,

All your doing is make a div a certain size, its not againest convention to do this.

I always but widths on my div and often have the page being say a certain width or % wide
