thejerm Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 I have been with tch for a year (apparently) now when today I found out my account had been renewed for another year without my notification. I have been blogging less and less lately so I figured I would just end my account at the end of my first year here and possible come back at a later time. I thought my renew date was in mid Feb, however it turns out my renew date was the end of Jan. 1. I figured tch would warn me before renewing my service and charging my credit card but I guess that is too much to ask. 2. After putting in a support ticket the only reply I get is "sorry that you are leaving". You could refund my money; we are talking very few days over the renewal date. 3. tchgurubillh told me that an email was sent to the original account email about my renewal but that email doesn’t work any longer..... What I am saying is tch doesn’t make it clear about account renews and always reminds users to update the cPanel email address and one would think they would use that email to communicate with the customer. Other than this problem while I am on my way out the door I have had no complaints about tch. They have been great! Extremely good reliability (at least my server) and fairly fast tech support. Quote
TCH-Dick Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Thanks for the feedback and when you decide to host a new site please keep us in mind. I would like to address your concerns about a refund, as we do not wish to charge you for the entire year over a few days. Once your cancellation complete you will recieve a refund within 24 hours. If you have any other concerns about your cancellation then please fell free to contact me. Quote
thejerm Posted February 3, 2006 Author Posted February 3, 2006 Thanks tch-dick! I will of course keep you in mind and have already directed my friends to tch and possibly soon some non-profits I work with. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Of course we will not let you off too easy. You still have to come around the forums every now and again and tell us how you are doing. Remember, once a family member, always a family member. Quote
