Johnns Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 (edited) Hey everyone, I've been working on my website for a while now and I am facing some problems, unfortunately. see: The page as you see I have created frames working with CSS. Now I want to have a menu in the blue header (top-frame) to make it more clear. this is the menu I want to place over there: Header problems - messy code - javascript - makes webpage not xhtml valid anymore - does not work in mac OSX - when pasting the menu in my index.html ; to make it one whole part , its not working anymore. in firefox. it is working in internet explorer but also the pics are moved out of line. Does anyone have a good alternative for building this menu? perferably in css so it is more likely to work well combined with the whole. thanks a lot! Edited January 17, 2006 by Johnns Quote
TCH-Mark Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Hello, I don't really do web design but maybe someone will be along shortly to give you a hand, on thing though have you thought about DHTML? http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ Quote
Deverill Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 CSS would work and most browsers are compliant, or nearly so, making it a good choice. The best thing to do is grab a book or visit some web sites that will get you up to speed with it. It's a bit strange at first (or was for me) but once you start understanding it, the whole thing makes sense. Quote
