TCH-Bruce Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Are you popping your gmail account or using the web interface? I don't pop mine so I've never had the problem. Quote

TCH-Bruce Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 What mail client are you using? If it's Thunderbird is the account set up with the check box labeled automatically download new messages checked? Port 465 is secure SMTP and 995 is secure POP Quote

Port 465 is secure SMTP and 995 is secure POP I use a program called "incredimail" had the account since 2/4/2005 and since after xmas is when the trouble began never mind got it figured out, I created a folder called TCH, and all emails from TCH go there, well evidently it was not finding the folder, deleted the message rule, all TCH email go to my inbox, I now get the TCH emails Thanks Edited January 9, 2006 by jayson Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I've never used incredimail but it sounds to me like something is not checked that should be. Maybe now would be a good time to try Thunderbird. Quote
paultwang Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Apparently the POP retrieval only downloads whatever is in your "Inbox". That's why I don't put any email into folders. Quote
