Guest callieann Posted June 7, 2003 Posted June 7, 2003 Hi there - I'm very new to registering my own domain & getting it hosted, and was hoping someone here could help me with this question. I just registered two domain names for personal family pages - godshaw.com and godshaw.org - through TCH's Domain Registration site. Now I want to set up an account with TCH to host these domains - my question is, do I need to set up two hosting accounts, one for each domain? I apologize if this information is already here and I am overlooking it. Thanks for your help! -callieann Quote
TCH-Andy Posted June 7, 2003 Posted June 7, 2003 Hi, As far as I am aware. If the pages are going to be identical - i.e. you just want godshaw.org and godshaw.com pointing at exactly the same files, then you only need one hosting acount. If they are different, then you need two. Hope that helps Andy Quote
TCH-Rick Posted June 7, 2003 Posted June 7, 2003 Andy is exactly right. If you want both domain names to point to the same site just set up the one you want to use as your primary domain name with an account and then submit a Help Desk ticket and give us the name of the second domain and we will park it on top of the first one.
