Phpbb File Uploading?

Hi all, new here. Been hosting for awhile here but have just now started up a message board.

 

One of my forums is a screenshot forum (for a video game). I want users to be able to make a post and attach an image that will be uploaded to my webspace. Is this possible? I don't see it in any of the settings.

 

Any help is much appreciated!

 

...if it's not available via phpbb, what are my other options?

Per the phpBB website;

 

Can I post Images?

Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).

 

I do believe there are mods available that will allow you to accomplish this in one way or another though.

You can do a Google search for phpBB file upload hacks. That might yeild some results.

 

Yes, Invision has file upload capability.
