TCH-JimE Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 (edited) Hello All, Long time no see, been hard at work, so hard I have forgotten a few things that I learnt whilst here, anyway, I hope you can help I own two domain names, one is quite happy with TCH but I want to point another domain name to the root. I believe this is acceptable under the AUP. The question then comes, can I have an email address(s) for this NEW domain name? e.g. I have www.ignorethis.com with tch I want to point www.pleaseignorethis2.com to the same root directory I then want to create an email address like: mail1@pleaseignorethis2.com mail2@pleaseignorethis2.com As well as all my normal mail1@ignorethis.com Is it possible or not? Thanks and a merry xmas to you all Jimuni Edited December 10, 2005 by Jimuni Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Possible yes, acceptable yes. Open a ticket with the help desk and have them park the domain on top of your current domain. Quote

Hi, I have a question that is related to the issue/question above. At this moment I have a ingnorethis.com domain name that I use for my TCH account. Works like a charm by the way! I would like to know whether it is possible to point a ignorethis.nl (from The Netherlands) to the same site? And if it is possible to get the anaccount@ignorethis.nl e-mails in the same mail account as the anaccount@ignorethis.com address? Thanks in advance, Z3NiTH Edited January 15, 2006 by Z3NiTH Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Yes, I believe so by having the help desk park the .nl domain on top of your current domain. You would create forwards for the .nl email addresses to go to you current domain address. Quote
Z3NiTH Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 OK, great! Would this also mean that I get a second domain name integrated in my Cpanel? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 The only thing I know that you can access through cpanel for parked domains is email. You can have seperate email addresses for each domain you park or you can set up forwards for the parked domain to go to your first domain. There is only one cPanel since the content for all domains being parked are accessing the same content. Quote
