TomeOne Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 Hi there, Index Manager seems to be down, or at least, part of it is. I want to disable the viewing of certain directory indexes, and when I try to save the option for "no indexes" via the Index Manager, I get the following error message: Not Found The server was not able to find the document (./frontend/bluelagoon/indexmanager/deluser.html) you requested Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this error to your webhost. Any idea when it will be back? Thanks! Quote
Lianna Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 At the top of your cPanel, it says which server you are on. Could you post that info here for us please? Quote
TomeOne Posted June 3, 2003 Author Posted June 3, 2003 I must be blind because I can't find it. "cpaneld/6.0 Server at 207.44.248.87" - I get that on the error page when I try to use the Index Manager. Does that help? Apparently that's server 26. Funny thing is... whilst I was at work today, I was able to use the Index Manager and turn off the index for a directory. But here at home it won't work. Computer at work is a Windows PC, my computer is a Macintosh. Quote
TomeOne Posted June 4, 2003 Author Posted June 4, 2003 OK, now it says "Welcome to Server 26" Thanks for adding that. Quote
TomeOne Posted June 4, 2003 Author Posted June 4, 2003 OK, I figured out what was up. The browser I used here at home, Safari, isn't liked by CPanel. Using Internet Explorer the Index Manager works just fine. Guh. Quote
Lianna Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 Ah, that's good to know! Thanks for the update and sorry for the trouble. Note to self: Safari browser on Mac not good with cPanel. Got it. Thanks! Quote
