Is Anyone Having Trouble With The Html Editor...
TomeOne replied to Betty1's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
I don't like the editor because I found it messed with my own written xhtml for some reason. Mind you, this was back in the summer of 2005. But I won't touch it any more for fear of it breaking pages. -
I was wondering why :blackhole: never seems to stay under "All unrouted mail will be sent to:", it always reverts back to :fail:. What's up with that?

What Happened To Boxtrapper Url In Cpanel And Webmail ?
TomeOne replied to derekn's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Next time it happens I shall. By the way, is it intentional that only the server load shows up in the service status via cPanel? I used to get a list of other services pertaining to my server as well. -
What Happened To Boxtrapper Url In Cpanel And Webmail ?
TomeOne replied to derekn's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Lemmie guess, server 26 is one of the affected servers? It's been getting heavy loads for a little while now, makes getting email a real chore sometimes. -
We're waiting on Cpanel to add Squirrelmail 1.4.5 to a stable release, right? I notice a slight interface difference in Squirrelmail if logging in via Cpanel's webmail and www.domain.tld/sqmail ("toggle all" and "select all"). I kinda got excited there because I thought Cpanel finally added 1.4.5 but alas...

The same thing happened to me once. I changed the password for cpanel and my FTP login didn't work. Switched it back to what I had before, and it worked again. Since then I've made another cpanel password change but didn't immediately do any FTP. A couple of days later I FTP'd just fine with the new password.

That works. You've helped me twice today. Too bad there's no login page like Squirrelmail's.

Hi, I was wondering if there is a quick link to Horde like with Squirrelmail? I know I can access a general webmail area with http://www.domain.com/webmail, but is there something like http://www.domain.com/sqmail for Horde? Please enlighten me. Thanks!

Via /sqmail the permission errors don't appear, but the aforementioned index order problem is there regardless. Nobody uses /webmail so like I said it's not a big issue.

I was just wondering if anybody else is experiencing some sort of problem with the "Index Order" options of the latest Squirrelmail install. It seems to not be working right, i.e. I appear to have now three subject entries and I cannot remove two of them, thus in the Inbox et al I see three subject columns. The small popup menu also disappears suddenly. See my attached screenshot for a visual. I know you might say that I should submit a ticket regarding this, but I really was wondering if anybody else gets this. It's also weird how when I use sqmail at work, I send an e-mail, it sends out three copies at once. I figure that might have something to do with my proxy there so it's nothing on TCH's end. Also, one last issue which really won't affect me is that if someone goes to the webmail via www.domain.com/webmail, logs in with their account and then tries using Squirrelmail, they get a ton of permission denied errors. Just a heads up, like I said it doesn't affect me or any other of the people who use webmail on my site.

I guess I wasn't clear enough when I asked. I think it was assumed I installed Imagemagick.
-
You mean if I open a ticket it'll be installed for me? That's awesome, I had no idea!

I was wondering if that missing binary, composite, could be installed. It'd be useful for watermarking photos. My gallery is at http://www.alshakarchi.com/photography

Errr... how do I get in? I'm a TCH customer after all and I have no idea where I'd get the password for its access from. Help? Thanks.

I have a blog but it's only read by two people (the intended audience). I'm using it as a diary of sorts for a specific subject. I want a little bit of history for when what I am currently going through is all over so I can look back and feel really good.

How To Install Squirrelmail - The Ultimate Guide
TomeOne replied to dlevens's topic in Client Written Tutorials
Can someone give me step-by-step instructions for how to get the vlogin plugin to work? I think I may be missing something when I try and add it. Thanks. -
When trying to access /sqmail on my hosting, I get the following: Is this intentional? Did I miss a memo? I'm on Server 26. (I intentionally replaced my user ID with "mytchuserid" for security reasons.)
-
Well I feel like the right idiot now. Sorry about that. I shall read that guide for sure, thank you!

Dear TCH and fellow website owners: If you're like me, you think Squirrelmail is a great little webmail app. However, if you're still like, you might notice a few limitations or missing features in it. However, at Squirrelmail's website you can find a wealth of third-party add-ons and plugins providing those little features you are missing or are in need of. What I would like to propose to the staff of TCH and my fellow TCH users is that we all come together and bring up what we'd like to see in Squirrelmail hosted within our TCH servers so that it may become a more feature-rich webmail app. I'm a little ignorant of security issues and the like, and I'm sure TCH will have to look at such a proposal carefully, but it would really be great if you could work with me/us on this. One plugin I'd like to see installed is one that empties trash periodically for you. Another is one that prunes the sent-mail folder at a user-defined time. Squirrelmail's plugin page is here. I really wouldn't have bothered to bring thing up since I download and read all my mail in a client on my computer, but having given my fiancé a mail account which she will probably primarily use via Squirrelmail, I began to realise how limited it is in its current state. I decided to bring this up here and hope for the best, let me know what you think, thanks!

BoxTrapper would be useful to keep... or at least a service like that. Not that I receive tons of spam in my mail account but still. Thanks for all the hard work.
-
Gotcha, thanks for the infomation. I'm not to worried since the person who might want some space on my site wouldn't upload illegal content or use up most of my space.
-
Will the people at CPanel be adding that in an upcoming new version?
-
OK, I figured out what was up. The browser I used here at home, Safari, isn't liked by CPanel. Using Internet Explorer the Index Manager works just fine. Guh.
-
OK, now it says "Welcome to Server 26" Thanks for adding that.
