lbluttrell Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Hi there! I am having trouble figuring out my email. I am completely new at this and am just trying to build my first site. I manage a friends site, and to check email, I can just go to mail.domain.com and log in. I would like to do that with the site I am trying to build. I have figured out how to get my site running, but everytime I go to mail.domain.com I get the message "There is no website configured at this address." So I'm guessing I have to configure something, but I don't know what or how... Thanks for your help! Lisa PS. Sorry if this is a silly question, like I said, I'm REALLY new to this... Quote
TCH-Andy Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Hi Lisa, Welcome to the forums I assume you are trying to use webmail. If so then try; www.domain.com/webmail or www.domain.com/sqmail Login in using the full email address as the username, and the password. Quote
lbluttrell Posted November 29, 2005 Author Posted November 29, 2005 Hi there! Thanks for the warm welcome and fast reply! I tried www.domain.com/sqmail and got a "page cannot be found" message. Should both ways work? Thanks! Lisa Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Lisa, please open a ticket with the help desk. The mods don't have access to the servers or your account info. Quote
abinidi Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Hi Lisa. Welcome to the forums. Be sure that when you go to "www.domain.com/sqmail" that you replace the "www.domain.com" part with YOUR domain information. So if your website was: www.lbluttrel.com, you would go to www.lbluttrel.com/sqmail. Often we just type "www.domain.com" to be a type of variable that means "your site." You probably knew this, but since you said you were really new at this, I thought I might point that out just in case. Welcome to the TCH family. If you have any additional questions, be sure to ask. We love to help. Quote
TCH-Tim Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 I don't have /sqmail anymore. Did on my old server, but not on the new. Should probably stick with /webmail. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Open a ticket if you do not have /sqmail. Quote
