TCH-Rob Posted May 24, 2003 Posted May 24, 2003 Now that I have a few products on my site (about 150) I need a site map. I wasnt smart enough to make one as I go. Is there a program out there that will crawl my site and give me all my links so I can make a site map so it can be spidered easier? Quote
TCH-Rob Posted May 24, 2003 Author Posted May 24, 2003 DSD, Well slap me and call me Susie. Though I have a small number of products I have over 6000 links. Looks like I will have to see if it can narrow the search or fork over some cash for the full version. Unless anyone knows of a free one I will have to start saving my pennies. Thanks for the link. borfast Posted May 25, 2003 Posted May 25, 2003 Nothing like the good old folks at the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C - w3.org) to provide us with nice tools Seriously, if you only need a link checker, try this: http://validator.w3.org/checklink or even this: http://www.linklint.org/ Quote
TCH-Sales Posted May 25, 2003 Posted May 25, 2003 I found these in a quick search through google... http://www.thepcmanwebsite.com/drop_down_menu.shtml http://www.xtreeme.com/sitexpert/sitemapcreator/ http://www.freefind.com/create-sitemap.html Quote
boxturt Posted May 25, 2003 Posted May 25, 2003 (edited) I just tried this on one of my smaller sites, works well http://www.exacttrend.com/eXactMapperL/index.html -ty After messing around with it I did discover that it doesn't care for frames or navigation using SSI pages Edited May 25, 2003 by boxturt Quote
