A few questions before I decide to sign up:

1) Does email traffic affect my bandwidth totals (i.e. if I pop a 5mb email, does that come off my 10GB monthly bandwidth)?

2) Are there limits on the sizes of individual emails?

3) Do you support IMAP?

4) Finally, do you support Secure connections? (If I decide to pop or imap, I don't want an unencrypted password floating around the 'net)

Thanks.

Hi,

1. Yes that is correct.

2. Nope, the only size factor is the size of the inbox its going too. Obviously if you have a massive 1gig attachment, its not going to work!

3. SMTP and IMAP are supported (edited to avoid confusion)

4. Yes we do.

Thanks and I look foward to having you as part of the family. Remember, we offer a 30 day money back policy, so if you don't l ike us, you have nothing to loose!

1. Yes, your email traffic is a part of the comprehensive total for your package.

2. There are no limits on individual email size with the exception of the size of your package quota/email setup quota. Example, if you get a plan here that only supports a total disk space of 10MB and you are expecting a 12MB file attachment on an email, it ain't gonna fly. See? Also then, as you set up email addresses through cPanel, you have the ability to limit (set quota) for each account. If you have a plan here with 100MB and set up an email account with a quota of 10MB, you're still in the same boat with the 12MB file. However, you can change the quota for your mail account to 20MB and then be covered. See again? Last, all mail that remains on the server and not deleted after download by your mail client counts against that email account's quota...so if you have 2MB of emails in your inbox on the server then you only have 8MB of your quota remaining if it was set to 10 initially. (10MB is the default setting when creating a new mailbox.)

3. For webmail interfaces, you can choose to use a secure connection, yes.

Happy hunting and thanks for considering TCH!
