Meta Tag Question

every thing I see and read everywhere talks about optimizing a site ---but what if you are looking to optimize certain pages in different ways? for example I'd want 3 doors down optimized in 3 doors down and tommy emmanuel optimized in Tommy Emmanuel....if I have different pages with different tags, will the robots notice this and react accordingly or will they view one site with numerous tags on different pages as spam?

If, "you don't know anything about site optimization" and your site is ranked number 3 or 4, I would guess that you were using a relatively non-competitive search phrase.

 

My first question would be is that the most appropriate phrase?

 

Or, would you guarantee a higher ranking if the ranking is already high?
