thebigtimer Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Hey, I currently have a site hosted by another company and I would love to switch it on over to TotalChoice. The other company doesn't offer cgi or php and I desperately need it. Your services look great and I hope I can switch to you guys, but I do not know what I have to do and how to do it. Any help would be great, thanks. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Welcome to the forums. If you own your domain name you can purchase a hosting plan here and then move your content over. If your current host uses cPanel the techs may be able to move the site for you. Once you put your content up on the TCH servers you change your domain's DNS servers to point to the IP address given to you in the welcome email when you sign up. If you don't have a domain name, you can purchase one through TCH or any valid registrar. Quote
TCH-Don Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Welcome to the forums, thebigtimer Your welcome e-mail will have temp address to see your web space before switching the DNS to here. And also a temp address to access your cpanel (web site control panel) And a temp IP address to use ftp until your domain name switches over. If you need any help, just let us know. Quote
