I swear I read the FAQs and the price list/package list at least twice but I did not see any mention of parked domains?

 

Does TC charge for parking more than one domain on a single hosting plan? I have TWO domains that I want to host. (I already have the domains.)

 

Also, Fantastico scripts... no mention of it but can I manually install them into the Cp?

Yes, you can park as many domains as you wish, as long as they point to and use the same content.

 

No, we do not support Fantastico. Sorry about that.

To allow add-on domains requires you to either purchase a new virtual hosting package or sign up for a reseller account where you can host as many domains as will fit into the plan you purchase.

Addon domains are not enabled in normal hosting account,

but can be used in a reseller account

 

You can download and install most scripts yourself,

that way they are up to date.

If you need help our family is here for you.

 

There is no charge for parking a domain name on top of your account,

this is done by opening a help ticket to the techs

and will resolve to your account domain.

Parked domains cannot be pointed to another folder or file, but must goto your domain.

 

For another site you will need a second account or reseller account.

 

If you have more questions, please ask.

Haha... I can see the "family" thing! :D

 

I'm quite new to all this website thing so can someone explain to me what exactly is a reseller account? How does it differ from a hosting plan (besides the fact that I can have multiple websites on it... and the price)? How about the Cp? How different is a reseller account's Cp from a hosting one?

 

And, how about databases? How many can I have / any limitations?

One last question before I place my order! (Yes, I hear that 'finally!')

 

What if I purchase a whole year of a "Starter" hosting plan and decide, say, 4 months down the road, that I want to upgrade to the "Silver" plan - what will happen???

OH NO! Sorry, for the double posting!

 

Our billing department will be contacting you via telephone to verify your order.
1. I'm in a land far far away from the USA. (What if I'm sleeping?)

2. I'm in school... What if you call me and I can't pick up?

 

If we are unable to voice verify your order we will suspend services provided to you and refund the credit card charges.

The billing department will have this in mind when they call. So I think you can sleep well. :)

 

I am not sure what will happen if you don´t answer when they call but you can always submit a ticket and ask. Link on top of page.

I just spoke to Michelle on the billing department.

If you have a answering machine, they will leave a message and you can call back. Otherwise they will try again in a few days.
