Dumplin Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 A friend is trying to help me load Word Press and said just go to cPanel and click on the icon called Scripts Library......I don't see that anywhere.....is there a different verison of cPanel? Thanks! Donna My site is just-for-fun-club.net in case you need that for anything. Quote
TCH-Don Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 You should have an icon and link to the Scripts Library, if you do not, please open a help ticket. however you will not find WP in there, you will have to install it yourself. see the help site for help in installing.. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Not another version but another skin. I believe that the one with icons is called X. Wp is not installed on our cPanel but you might look for a Addon Scripts if there is no scripts library in the cPanel you are looking at. Quote

Ok will do that. however you will not find WP in there, you will have to install it yourself. see the help site for help in installing.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I printed out all the instructions from the WP site and they are confusing to me so if it's listed in the script library with the icons like my friend says maybe that will be easier for me. Thanks for your reply Don! Quote

TCH-Rick Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Please note that the scripts included in the Add-On scripts is the same regardless of the Cpanel theme used. WordPress is not installed by default in the Add-on scripts. It may be on a server or two as a test. I would suggest installing it manually anyway. WordPress is one of the easiest installs I have seen and users here will help you get it running if you have any problems. Taking a little more time to install it manually will make it easier to upgrade when new versions come out as you will know how it is set up. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 WordPress is one of the easiest installs I have seen Second that, the install is faster than making a hot dog in the microwave. If you have troubles, ask away in the WordPress forums and we will be happy to assist. Quote
