ACIDSTEALTH Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 Hi, I am considering purchasing an account here but I would just like to know your policy about a few things. In your TOS you mentioned the IRC scripts and BOTS are not allowed. I am wondering if this refers to only harmfull scripts, or ALL scripts. For instance, I wan't to have a javascript IRC applet on my site. Is this allowed? And another thing, I am wondering ifit is against the TOS to offer the OST to an anime for download, provided the OST is NOT liscenced in the US. Thanks. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 Because of the resources needed for most IRC scripts and bots, they do not play well on a shared server and thus we do not allow them. You can offer any downloads as long as they are not copyrighted or you have the proper permission to do so. Welcome to the forums. Quote
hooksie Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 Hey acid, nice to see you here too. Did you find this place by yourself or by the link at OA? Quote
ACIDSTEALTH Posted June 5, 2005 Author Posted June 5, 2005 No, I was browsing OA and stumbled upon it. I was in the market for a new host and this one looks like a winner. Quote
ACIDSTEALTH Posted June 5, 2005 Author Posted June 5, 2005 Sorry for the double post, but I have another question for you TCH guys. I ordered a silver package but my friend is in charge of donations for my site and he is going to pay using the donations from his account at paypal. However there is one small problem. He lives 10,000 miles away. So how does that process work, can you tell me? Quote
TCH-Andy Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 Hi, Welcome to the forums. The easiest is if they sign up, if they are paying. The distance is not an issue. Quote
ACIDSTEALTH Posted June 5, 2005 Author Posted June 5, 2005 OK well I already signed up so I should cancel my order then and just have him sign up? Quote
TCH-Andy Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 If you've already signed up, then I would open a support ticket at our help desk (link at top of page) for the billing department, and we should be able to help out there. Quote
ACIDSTEALTH Posted June 6, 2005 Author Posted June 6, 2005 OK, I did that, that was very helpful, thanks! Quote
